SCRIP Orders SCRIP is a fundraising program that the Chancel Choir uses to earn funds for purchase of music, choir robes, instruments, etc. Here’s how it works: Every card you purchase, the Chancel Choir gets a percentage of that gift card. For example: You purchase a $25 card for, say Barnes and Noble. The choir gets 9% of the $25. That is $2.25 the choir gets to keep. The percentage’s vary per gift card. Consider ordering cards to do your everyday shopping. There are some members who purchase gift cards for Giant and CVS every month to make their regular purchases. It is a great way to help the choirs at church and it does not cost you anything extra. Just pay the face value of the card.
