Holiday Bazaar We are planning our second annual “Holiday Bazaar” (not limiting items to just one holiday) on Saturday, November 13, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Proceeds from the bazaar will go into the mortgage fund. Proceeds from last year’s bazaar were almost $2,900 – not bad for our first one. We will include the following: Vendors (from church members/groups and outside the church) Silent Auction Lunch – hot dogs, soda, chips, cookies, etc. Face painting and gift shop for children Cheese table (is any church group interested?) Bake sale We are inviting all groups in the church – Sunday School classes, UMW, UMM, ASP, youth groups, etc. – to become involved by helping with set-up, reserving tables to sell items, clean up, volunteering to work at various tables. We will have two options for renting space: table space (10’ x 10’ area) can be reserved for $25.00 with all proceeds going to the group/person, or the group/person can split the proceeds with the church. We will also ask each group/person/vendor for the donation of an item for the silent auction/raffle. Now is the time to start working on items for this year’s bazaar. More details will follow in next month’s Tidings and in bulletins as we get closer to the date of the bazaar.
