Serving Others

Olivet UMC is passionate about service.

Our desire is to share Christ's love not only within our church membership,

but also in the community of Coatesville and the entire world.

We support many different programs in our mission to spread the love of Christ to all.

Food Ministry Outreach

Our Food Ministry Team operates 'Bread & Blessings', a free lunch program, each Wednesday with doors open from 12 - 12:45 PM.  Everyone is welcome to attend!

There will be no Wednesday Lunch if the Coatesville Area School District has closed for weather conditions. If the Wednesday Lunch is closed due to unforeseen circumstances, a sign will be posted on the door.

We welcome volunteers to help cook, serve, or clean up!

CKC
Coatesville Kids to College

Olivet partners with Hope Beyond Borders' Coatesville Kids to College program to provide meeting space for Bright Beginnings Preschool and the I-Rise Elementary after-school program.

These programs support children and families right here in Coatesville.  They strive to provide children with the tools, resources, and support they need to successfully graduate from college.

Become a tutor!  You could change a child's life!

Reading Connections

"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."  Dr Seuss

Our Reading Connections group partners with the Coatesville Kids to College after school program by volunteering to read books to children every other Tuesday from 5:15 - 5:45 PM.  We also collect new or gently-used books to give to the children to help build their home libraries.

Contact Lisa Marie Crane for more info or to volunteer with this ministry.
