Pastor Ricardo was raised in Puerto Rico and has been in ministry for over 40 years as a pastor, schoolteacher, college and seminary professor, missionary, and mentor. He received his degree from Drew University and began serving in the New Jersey urban and rural churches. He also served as a missionary in South America. He is passionate about social outreach ministries and putting faith into action.

He enjoys fishing, cooking, all types of music and walking his 2 dogs. Pastor Ricardo and his wife Laurie were married just over a year ago. Laurie is a librarian in the history reference department at Villanova University.
